Chalice are some of the most colorful captive growth corals. They require moderate care so are not recommended for beginners. They fall into the catergory of SPS or small polyp stony coral. Chalice prefer to be placed in a horizontal position in low to medium light and water current. Chalice is an encrusting coral and will actually encrust onto the glass of an aquarium. They will grow in a plating formation when housed in an open area.

We finally received a few frags of Miami Hurricane Chalice, but they won't last long! A beautiful, highly sought after coral, Chalice is relatively easy to care for given the right conditions. These are truly some of the most beautiful of all corals. Chalice are somewhat of a slow grower.
